We have enjoyed having these plaid couches we got from Brian's aunt and uncle when we bought our home. But we have been rough on them and most of the springs on the couch had broken so you sunk very low when you sat down. For a while, that was no problem. But then last Saturday Arden and Lorraine bought a sectional from Costco and when we helped bring it in on Sunday, we fell in love with it and decided the time and cost were right to buy the same one for us.

We love this sectional so much!! It is comfortable and beautiful and sturdy!
We also finally decorated using the Lamb and Lion painting Brian got for Christmas and the Christus statue Brian bought me for my birthday. We paired it up with the Family Proclamation we received as a wedding gift. We love the peace and calmness of our family room now!

We also hung up more family pictures and updated a few. I love making our home nice, although it is not glamorous at all - I love feeling at home and comfortable and that is more my style. This is still my dream home, so I am very very blessed. Now if we could only fill this house up with more children, it would be perfect!
