We didn't stay up late to watch fireworks on Pioneer Day because bright and early on July 25, we start school. Elliott was excited, but also casual and cool about starting 3rd grade this year.
He is rocking the Minecraft green and gray!
Elliott was less thrilled about posing in front of the school.
And this year, Trevor did not want to join him for the picture.
We found his new classroom in a new pod this year as well. Instead of switching rooms halfway through the day and having one teacher teach in English and another teacher teach in Spanish, Miss Evelyn Chanez will teach both. So he stays in one classroom all day. It is also Miss Chanez's first year teaching so we are excited for that.
I think this smile is his relief that we are almost ready to leave him alone.
3rd grade will be awesome this year and Elliott is so ready!
