For New Years Eve, we traveled up to Pocatello to stay with Dewey and Liz and family. We ate party food and vegetables and played games and talked loudly over the children's noise. The best part came when we pulled up last year's ball drop on you tube and watched it early and sent the littles to bed. Then we grown-ups stayed up talking and barely lasted until midnight. Then we all got some sleep and woke up on New Years day ready to work off some energy outside. It was very cold, too cold to walk very far for sledding. So Dewey hooked the sled up to the dogs and Elliott had no idea what would come next.
The dogs can run very fast and it looks thrilling. So far so good.
This video doesn't have a happy ending. I didn't see it coming.
But Elliott is tough and was able to stop crying and play with Ephraim for a little bit in the snow.
It was fun to get away for the holiday and spend time with our family. Dewey and Liz are always welcoming and provide lots of fun!
2013 here we come!
