Friday night our local library had a "Seuss on the Loose" event. We decided to check it out and we really enjoyed it. We started off by listening to a volunteer read The Cat in the Hat. Then we moved to some games like carrying the plastic egg on a spoon, and fishing in a pond for a prize. There were lots of families there but it wasn't too crowded. Trevor even sported a Dr. Seuss outfit.
He was so content for most of the evening to ride around in his stroller and watch everyone.
Here Elliott is trying to pin the mustache on the Lorax.
Elliott went on a mini-obstacle course and earned his Sneetch star for his belly. Then Brian helped him find all the clues on Mulberry Street.
Our last stop was at the craft center where Elliott wrapped a Truffula Tree. (A pencil, puff ball and pipe cleaner.)
We then folded the Cat in the Hat hats and Elliott put stickers on his.
It was such a fun evening to celebrate Dr. Seuss and the library!
