April Showers bring PUDDLES!

We love the rain! It has rained all day and our rocks by the driveway always create an awesome puddle! When we got home from running some errands, Trevor checked it out. At first he only threw rocks into the puddle, making a splash. Then he got more adventurous and stomped right in.
He touched the water, dropped more rocks in and climbed out on the sidewalk and stepped back in. It was a warmer day so I let him play and splash while we waited for Elliott to come home off the bus.
Is there anything cuter than a toddler splashing in a puddle?
Then, uh-oh! Trevor fell down in the puddle. While it was warm enough to splash in, it was too cold to sit in. I took off his soggy pants and soaked shoes and socks and plopped Trevor into Elliott''s old rain boots. The boots were too big, but Trevor could walk in them, barely.
At this point, Elliott walked home from the bus stop and donned his rain boots to splash in the puddle too!

After a few minutes, I took Trevor in the house to warm up his chilled little legs and feet. Elliott came in to warm and and read his books. But that was sure a fun puddle!
