Ashtons Assemble

This week the entire Arden and Lorraine Ashton family has gathered from Minnesota and Maine and parts of Utah to celebrate Ben and Wendy getting married on August 1. Here are the happy couple playing with Elliott and newest baby nephew Jonas. Yep, they should have kids soon, don't ya think?

For the first time in years, all the kids, spouses, and grandkids have assembled in one place so Arden set up a screen in the back garden for a family photo shoot. Scott was the monkey helping to set it up.

Here is the impressive shade screen. There is nothing Arden can't do or build!

Trying to arrange the families and Elliott thought it looked like fun sitting by his cousins, but cannot be trusted not to hit and shove and so grandpa held him for the actual picture.

This is not the actual photo since we had a real life photographer, but Lisette snapped this picture and at first Elliott started crying, but with Kevin jumping up behind the photographer, Elliott laughed. And so did we!

Here we go for a fun-filled family weekend. We sure do love our families and love to get together.
