Elliott had a great Halloween this year. It was a lot of fun coming up with his costume. We bought a Spiderman costume last year that he refused to wear last minute because he didn't like the tight mask on his face. He still wanted to be Spiderman this year, just without the mask. We also had this awesome Donatello Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle mask that Elliott wanted to wear but didn't want to be a ninja turtle for Halloween, so I agreed he could combine the two and it would be awesome! Then while decorating for Halloween, Elliott found his pirate gear from the last two years of being a pirate. He came up with his costume of "Captain Spider Turtle" so he could wear all three. It was epic! We got comments all night long either about not making up his mind or how cool it was to be everything you wanted to be. I thought it was great because I didn't get him confused with any other costume - he was unique! And best of all, Elliott was super excited and happy!

We left Brian home to pass out candy to the 190 plus kids(and yes folks, Brian counted all the trick-or-treaters at our door.) Elliott and I ventured out to trick or treat the night away. Elliott was very good about saying "trick or treat" and "thank you" at every door. He even melted my heart a few times by telling people to "Have a dreat Halloween" as he left their porches. It took us an hour and a half to make it as far 2 1/2 blocks and by then my pregnant belly was done with walking and Elliott was tired so we started making our way back home. Elliott had lots of fun and enjoyed going through his candy and toys and answering the door to pass out candy once we got home.
