My Grandma Cook is getting older and her memory is getting worse. Since my Aunt Jennie has gotten a job, Grandma is alone all day and so Elliott and I now go visit her for a few hours every day to help out and make sure she eats lunch. I love my grandma very much and it is so fun to watch her and Elliott play.

Elliott now knows that whatever Grandma has, she will share with him. He crawls over very fast and climbs up ready for a treat.

In this case, he just licked the butter off the toast, but Grandma has always liked soggy bread, so it was ok.

Unfortunately she also shared her Diet Pepsi.

Luckily though, Elliott liked the can better than the drink. We'll save soft drinks for later in life.

Elliott is no longer shy when we get to Grandma's. He can climb up in her lap right away.

And he has learned to share his treats and toys with Grandma too.

I call this the teether teaser.

We both love our Grandma Cook and hopes she feels better soon. In the meantime, we are so lucky to live so close and have the time to spend with her.
