After the wedding lunch on Saturday, we all drove over to the ferry and barely managed to get on for an hour long ride over to Bainbridge Island. We could get out of our cars and meet up on the deck to see the view and enjoy the ferry ride.
It was very windy out on the deck, but there were plenty of seats in the covered part of the ferry.
It was chilly too, but very fun to be out on the water.
Once we arrived, we parked and the adults decided what to do while the kids were kids...How many things can you think of to do on a bicycle rack?
1. Climbing.
2. Standing there looking adorable.
3. Flipping.
4. And finally, lining up in a train.
There were statues of frogs dressed up everywhere. The kids climbed all over this one.
But this skipper had a sign asking not to climb on him, so Miriam, Elliott and Asher posed next to him instead.
The Canfield family headed back to catch the next ferry home while the rest of us walked down to the water. Elliott standing next to the stone-man because I told him to. He's not too sure he wants to.
But he was happy to show off how strong he is next to this stone-man.
Elliott with his cousins Eliza, Asher and Miriam.
Elliott likes to sit on any bench he comes along, and Eliza and Asher joined him.
Posing with Wendy and Lili on a picnic bench.
Brian and I at the pier.
Then we headed back to the cars for another ferry ride back to Seattle and back to the house for the last night of this fun vacation.
