Flying home

On Sunday afternoon, we started our journey home. We dropped off the van rental and rode the shuttle to the airport. Elliott was more tired this time around and took every chance he could to rest, even while standing in line at the security checkpoint.
Once through security, we found this kid play area. It was awesome!
How come Salt Lake doesn't have one?
We ate lunch in the food court and the entire wall was made of windows to watch airplanes coming and going and even had tons of rocking chairs. Andrew and Elliott enjoyed rocking out for a while just because they could.
Then we boarded our flight for home and managed to all sit together this time.
We were just across the aisle.
But since we'd had a fun-filled weekend, mostly we just slept on the way home.

We gathered our bags and caught the shuttle to the parking lot. Andrew got his own seat and was very proud of it!
Then we dropped Ben, Wendy and Andrew off at their house and came home. It was so good to go on a fun vacation and be there for Kevin and Karoline's wedding, and it felt great to be home and relax and get back into our own routine.
